Explore the most important religious complex of the Inca Empire, dedicated to the Sun God, over which the Convent of Santo Domingo was later built.
03:30 PM – Sacsayhuamán:
Transfer to the outskirts of the city to visit this impressive stone fortress, famous for hosting the Inti Raymi (Festival of the Sun).
04:30 PM – Q’enqo & Puka Pukara:
Visit the amphitheater and labyrinth of Q’enqo, a sacred ritual site, followed by Puka Pukara, the “Red Fortress” that once served as a military checkpoint.
05:30 PM – Tambomachay:
Conclude the tour at the “Bath of the Inca”, a ceremonial site dedicated to the worship of water, featuring perfectly functioning canals and fountains.
06:30 PM – Return to Cusco:
