Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Abra Málaga – Biking – Santa María

We depart toward Abra Málaga (4,350 m / 14,270 ft) to begin a 3-hour downhill bike ride to 1,200 m (3,940 ft), enjoying dramatic climate changes along the way. In the afternoon, there is an optional rafting experience on the Vilcanota River. Overnight at a local lodge.

Day 2: High Jungle Trek – Inca Trails

We hike through cacao and coffee plantations, crossing an original section of the Qhapaq Ñan with stunning canyon views. The day ends in Santa Teresa, where we relax in the famous Cocalmayo hot springs.

Day 3: Santa Teresa – Zipline – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes

The morning starts with pure adrenaline on the zipline. Then we walk alongside the train tracks from Hydroelectric Station to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town), enjoying breathtaking mountain scenery surrounding the citadel.

Day 4: The Grand Encounter – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Early ascent to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour exploring the mysteries of Inca engineering. In the afternoon, return by train to Ollantaytambo and then by bus to Cusco.
